Place is filthy and can't get the orders right. Food not fresh.
Good food. Friendly people. Good atmosphere. Reasonably priced. What more is needed.
This place is located inside of the Long Johns Silver Seafood Restaurant, and I tell you the fish and chips is sooooo good. Actually you can buy 1 piece of fish and french fries for under 2 dollars, and of course I have to get the kids an A&W Root Beer in a large frosted mug.You can also get an A&W root beer float for dessert. Cozy 1950S environment with nice music and booths and bathrooms on hand.
Its not very clean, and they don't always use fresh cooking oil. The shrimp is often like jerky from sitting to long under the hot lamps. The floor is always sticky, too... it's like walking on an inch of spoiled, dry soda pop. The recipes are good, but their sloppy, slip shod manner of cooking it isn't always good. We've had both the best, and the worst, meals there... the problem is that you never know which you'll get on any given visit.
Took forever. Burgers dry and old and chicken sandwich had two strips on it and fell apart .
