Teenage daughter transported to ER by ambulance after slurred speech, numbness and almost passing out at basketball practice. She was put in wheelchair and put in waiting room with the walk-ins. We sat in waiting room for a long time and I kept telling receptionist my daughter is having numbness of face and tongue and she is panicking. I was told there are others waiting. Finally after being called back it just got worse from there. The doctor came in still chewing food, the nurse took multiple attempts to draw blood which was stressful and we left with no answers just follow up with primary care doctor. Terrible. 1 star is too many for this place.

Same experience as Michelle Lee, with taking my husband to the emergency room with back spasim of a 10...from a guy that would never say he has a pain. I had to get him out of car with a wheel chair myself and bring him into register. Then put in waiting room 2+ hours...when I started asking questions to when he was going to be seen...just excuses. Finally got to see doctor ... She had attituted from beginning..nurse put in IV. Had problem blood everywhere...just on an on...does not deserve one star from us. Will not make that mistake again.

I have gone to two separate doctors offices with BHS, and I hated almost both doctors and all the nurses at them. they are rude, and really don't show any care in helping you with your needs. I even heard nurses making fun of a previous procedure I had done outside my room, which could not be more unprofessional. if you're looking for a good team of doctors, go to Allegheny Health Network, not BHS.

It really depends on the Doctor that is working, as well as the staff. I have have 5 incurable diseases/disorders that just need treatment for a few hours. One doctor will send me home and the next day the doctor says I can stay there and talks to the head coordinator and she said I'm not allowed to pick where I'm treated. But not there for my ulcerative colitis. I had to to go to Upmc Presbyterian. I wanted Allegany and was told they could be out of my plan. I said I didn't care. They still didn't care. One particular nurse HATES me the dr. Played my pain medication before I left, I sat in the transfer gurney for an hour, she said you'll be there soon. You don't need pain Meds. So she didn't follow doctors orders.

Butler hospital is a joke! Terrible service. Waiting for 3 hours before getting seen! I don’t see how they are capable of a 4 star rating.
