I usually like your people at Butler, Pa Midas but this time was a joke. I scheduled an appointment on Monday for Saturday using the online appointment for between 7:30 and 9:30. No one followed up to tell me a time. So I showed up at 8:30, well between my time and what was convenient with getting a child up and ready in the morning. I got criticized that my appointment was at 8 not 8:30. Then I proceeded to let them know when the fluid was changed last, since the car was reading a B134 on a civic. The manager had no personality and was an absolute jerk to me anytime I said something. I also had a good friend, who is a dealership mechanic at Acura, look at my vehicle, because they said the rear tires were choppy, which concerned me, and he laughed and told me to never take my vehicle to a place like that again because the mechanic who looked at it was trying to make a quick buck. My experience was a nightmare from a customer experience and although I am about supporting a customer of mine, I am not about being treated like trash.
Update: Midas reached out on their Facebook to message them. I did and no reply. Midas is no longer on my repair shop options. Too bad, I need brakes and tires and they're losing $500 to $600 in business
This it's why I never go to places like this the give you a low price for a oil change just to get you in the door then search for things to make money on causing the oil change to take along time to do. So, if you looking for a quick oil change forget it this is not you place. So everything I can't there for originally seems good son there is no complaints there.
Went in for a oil change tire rotation and they came out saying new tires would be recommend and a windshield wiper blade on my car was broke then tell me they don't have the wiper blade...so I tell them ok I will keep that in mind and I pay for the oil change/ rotation and go home.
Very fast. Very nice employees. Very clean shop. I recommend this place to everyone. Employees are very helpful.
Beware of the Midas touch! If you're not careful everything they touch turns into gold for them if they have the parts available...
Now I'm not saying there wasn't anything wrong with that blade it could have had a small tear (even though I just got it back in June and use them every morning to clean frost off the windshield) but I know for sure the rubber blade of the wiper wasn't hanging off to the point that it wouldn't clear the passenger side of the windshield. It was so bad I was afraid it was going to scratch the glass while driving to work this morning while it was pouring down rain ...so I can't say for sure but if I was going to guess how it played out I would say they took the blade off (ripping it badly while doing so) figuring they'd have the replacement blade and when they didn't they threw the old one damaged back on my car.
Got tires put on. They were quick and efficient. Job was done right with no problems.
